Hear the Lion Roar
Just one week until the newest Lora Leigh release from her Breeds series:
Lion's Heat
Release Date: April 6, 2010
ISBN: 0425233804
Publisher: Berkley
On the author’s website:
Bad boy Jonas Wyatt knows it is fate that Rachel becomes his mate. He can sense it. He can also sense her reluctance. But she has little power over the mating heat of the Breeds. It is Jonas's destiny to claim her. And nothing will stop him from having his way.
For an except please visit Ms. Leigh’s website.
I’m a sucker for Lora Leigh’s Breed Series. I have an addiction. I’ll admit it. For the most part they are candy for my brain, and I keep going back for more. There is a pattern to her books, a feel of familiarity, and it works. Not to mention, the sex scenes are incredibly hot. While normally I start a series from the beginning, this is one in which I did not -- I started with Megan’s Mark, and I have read each subsequent book in order.
To celebrate the newest Breeds release, I want to highlight one of my favorite books from the series.
Dawn’s Awakening
ISBN: 0425219755
Publisher: Berkley
From the author’s website:
The runt of the lab she was created in, Dawn Daniels endured years of torture by her pride brother and the council soldiers. Finally freed from her torment, she’s now a Breed Enforcer, in control of her own life. Until she’s assigned to protect the one man destined to be her mate—and realizes it’s far too easy to lose total control…
One of the Breed’s most important supporters, Seth Lawrence has spent years trying to forget Dawn, knowing that her lost innocence has made it impossible for her to get close to anyone. But suddenly neither of them can find the strength to fight the overwhelming passion between them. At least until the most brutal tormenter from Dawn’s past reappears—and threatens to destroy their newfound love, along with their lives…
What I’m talking about:
As I mentioned earlier, Ms. Leigh’s books tend to follow a pattern, but this book broke the mold. Finally we have a male that may want to protect and dominate, but he doesn’t need to use sex as a method for control. In fact, Seth has waited 10 long years with a hope in his heart that Dawn will let go of her past and come to him.
Dawn has suffered unspeakable terror at the Breed labs, and she has never been able to shake the horror of her past. She has risen in rank among the Breeds, becoming an enforcer, and always maintaining control. Even if that meant staying away from her destined mate. But when confronted with the possibility of losing Seth forever, Dawn realizes she cannot fight nature any longer and gives in to her desires for Seth.
Oh and Seth does not disappoint. He knows he must take his time with Dawn - time they don’t really have. But he surprises Dawn with care and compassion. I love that he collected soaps from his travels, imagining her wrapped in the fragrance of each one. It may be a chemical reaction that bring Breed mates together, but in the 10 years Seth has waited for Dawn, he’s learned that the physical desire isn’t the only thing that draws him to her.
The romance in this story is erotic and passionate. The story is fun. But what I didn't expect was the depth of emotions this book brought out in me. It is a touching story, one that had my heart aching and in the end, jumping for joy.

Sunday Snippets #1
I’m going to try a new feature on my blog call Sunday’s Snippets. The idea is to give you a little look into a book I love or want to read. I hope you enjoy...
Sunday’s Snippets #1
From Passion Unleashed by Larissa Ione.
Hell, he didn’t want to deal with any of this. He’d kept himself awake last night wondering why he hadn’t taken her virginity yet, but this morning, another horrifying thought had come to him. Was he dragging this out because he wanted to get to know her? Was he hoping she’d get to know him, learn to love him, and want to show him by making love to him?He almost laughed out loud. Who the hell would love someone else enough to give up their life for a night of sex?
No one. Which meant he might as well give up. He could stay with her, protect her until she got home, and then he coud go out in a blaze of glory, killing vamps or something.
He’d had worse plans.
So... that was it, then. He was going to die, and Serena was going to live.
He waited for panic to set in, or at least, a change of heart. But nothing happened. If anything, he felt... lighter. Was this what it felt like to do something unselfish?

Doomed by Poseidon millennia ago to live life bereft of feelings, Atlantean warrior Brennan’s curse is shattered when he meets Tiernan--a human with the ancient Gift of Truth Telling. Attraction turns deadly when the woman he could never forget becomes the woman he can never remember. With the fate of Atlantis on the line, will a warrior’s uncontrollable desire destroy the world?
A woman with an eye for the truth…Tiernan’s job as an investigative reporter is perfectly suited to her unique ability to see through any falsehood. But when she discovers human scientists conducting hideous experiments on humans and shape-shifters alike, only a wildly sexy Atlantean can help protect her from the those determined to see her fail—and die. When the future of the world is at stake, can she overcome death itself so together they can protect mankind?
What I’m talking about:
Ah, a great addition to Alyssa Day’s Poseidon Series. We’ve watched dear Brennan suffer without emotions through four books and now he gets his chance to shine. Atlantis Redeemed is a great combination of story line, action, love interest.
Brennan is a strong warrior who has been unable to feel any emotions for the past 2,000 years due to a curse placed upon him by the mighty sea god, Poseidon. Brennan remained a loyal servant for Poseidon all these centuries, not really believing the curse would come to fruition. The curse states that when Brennan meets his one true soulmate that he is doomed to experience every emotion he missed feeling over the course of time since the curse was placed upon him. This makes for an interesting character. I enjoyed the examination of Brennan’s array of emotions as they flooded into his being. Ms. Day did an excellent job transitioning from calm warrior to angry soldier to lustful mate. This was especially rewarding for those who have followed Brennan throughout the series.
Another aspect of the curse is that Brennan is destined to forget his true mate when she is not in his presence. This part of the story was not as strong. I was a bit disappointed that Brennan could fairly easily recall Tiernan once a strong enough emotion triggered a response and bring back some of his memories (like if she was threatened enough or when they kissed passionately). However, the curse has more pieces to it and they all play out in the story to a happy ending.
In Ms. Day’s prior Poseidon books, the warriors carried on with “he-man” attitudes, especially when it came to their women. Many times the conflict in the previous stories was due more to outdated male attitudes and strong-headed females than fighting the vampires. So, I was happy to see that this “he-man” attitude was not as strong of a character trait for Brennan. Sure, he wanted to protect Tiernan, but he worked through his emotions and didn’t often play the MAN-card. And when he did, it seemed more out of genuine concern, rather than Atlantean warrior personality.
The overall story arc of Warriors vs. Evil Vamps continued along with one door closing and another opening. This is very similar to the other books within the series. I felt that the action storyline was developed more to support the love story rather than a strong overall story arc. There is nothing wrong with this, unless you enjoy a strong overall story arc in the series you read.
Finally, for those of you that have followed the series, there are some reveals about Quinn, Alaric and Daniel.

Confessions of a book-a-holic
Greetings from Philadelphia! I am here for work - arrived on Sunday and will leave on Wednesday. It's my first solo trip from my family and I admit: I'm loving it! Sure I miss my babies and hubby, but really... It's so nice to have a big bed all to myself!
So what is everyone around me doing?? - They are going to dinners, drinkings, site-seeing (attending the conference, of course!).
What do I want to do... sit in my quiet room all by myself and READ! It's heaven! My first night here, I went to bed with my Kindle and read for 3 hours. I woke up and read for another 2 hours. It was heaven. I read in the car as we drove the the conference. I read before I feel asleep last night. I know it's not MUCH different then when I'm home, but it feels better because I don't have a family to take care of or a phone to answer. My internet connection has been spotty and I don't have the distractions of Twitter, Facebook, etc.
So here is my real confession: I just uploaded my current read: Alyssa Day's Atlantis Redeemed onto my "Kindle for PC" application. Now, I can read from my notebook in the middle of my conference and not really get caught! It's like when you put the fun book behind the text book in school. I feel so sneaky! I'm a grown adult, but I am feeling like a teenager!
Okay, shhhh... I've got to go to the conference now. This will be our little secret, right?!

Making my Author List
I love Twitter. I especially love the how I can “chat” with some of my favorite authors. I’m a total fan girl and secretly *squee* inside (or not so secretly) when I get to Tweet with any one of them.
Recently, I was made aware of an opportunity that would allow me to actually meet one of my favorite authors. I’m not sure if it’s going to happen, but it got me thinking about which of these authors I’d love to meet and what we’d do together. Of course, my list was about a dozen women long, so for the sake of this post, I’ve narrowed down to four authors. And now I feel like like Ross from that episode of friends when he takes Isabella Rossellini off his “list.”
The first author I’d love to meet and hang out with is Ms. Nalini Singh. Her Psy/Changling series is in my Top 5 favorites of all time. It was the second paranormal romance series I read and I’ve re-read a few times! When I first was reading her books, I had some questions about the characters, so I emailed her. And to my surprise, she responded right away. It was so cool that a famous, busy author would take the time to write back. I want to get together for brunch or tea and discuss her travels. From her blog, it looks like she has had some amazing adventures.
Another author I’d love to meet is Ms. Lara Adrian. She was my first author “tweep,” and she gave me a #Follow Friday when I first started twitter. Her Midnight Breeds series is an auto-buy for me and it’s hot and exciting. The fun thing is that she only lives a couple hours from me! I would love to get together with her for lunch to discuss our home state. What are her favorite restaurants, where does she like to visit, what has she done since she moved here, what brought her here...
Next up is the always entertaining Ms. Larissa Ione. First of all: who wouldn’t want to meet the person who imagines such amazing males such as Shade and Wraith.... and by amazing I mean *super hot*!
We have lots of fun on twitter and I would love to get together with her for dinner and a couple drinks. I remember reading that she got some of her inspiration for the Demonica Series while watching Angel. I am a huge Buffy and Angel fan and I think that is so cool. I would love to discuss where she gets her ideas, what else she imagines for her fictional world and maybe get a couple of spoilers! I would also like to learn more about her love of animals and what she does to help/protect them.

Those who’ve read my blog and tweet with me know that I adore her Guardian Series. Demon Moon is one of my all-time favorite books. I also have chatted a bit with her on twitter. Her blog posts are hilarious (I still laugh over her book p0rn post!) She currently resides in the Portland, OR area. I used to live in Seattle and I miss it dearly. I would love to get together on the West Coast for a cup of coffee (tea for me) and some seafood. I would love to hear her stories, how she got to where she’s at, what she’s up to. I think I would laugh a lot.
Oh, so many great women writers out there... I think I may have to make this a serial post and add in more at a later date. So, who would you love to meet? Who have you met already?

A Week of Weight Loss
My first week of Twitloss...
Here it is Tuesday afternoon and I’ve already re-writing this post 3 times in my head. The first time was immediately after my weigh-in on Monday.
I started my weight-loss journey over 13 years ago. It’s funny that my starting weight 13 years ago was roughly 5 pounds over my current goal weight. Hey, I had good metabolism and I was in my 20’s. My goal weight back then is impossible to reach now. I used the Weight Watcher program and was extremely successful. I was able to lose a lot of weight and keep it off. I am a Weight Watcher’s Life-time Member.
For a few years I didn’t need to really try hard at keeping my weight down. But after a couple of kiddos, it wasn’t so easy. I worked with my Weight Watcher leader to alter my goal weight to something more reasonable. And I was happy at that goal weight for over 2 years.
Fast forward to 2009. For some reason, I lost my motivation and will power. My workouts and gym schedule diminished. I ate a lot - portion control is my Achilles' heal. But something else started to happen... I became an emotional eater. I would eat when I was bored. I would eat when I was stressed. I would eat when I didn’t feel good about myself. And I gained roughly 13 pounds.
What I’m talking about...
I’ve been in and out of Weight Watchers for the past few months. Never really sticking around. As a lifetime member I have to weigh in once per month. I’ve now committed to attending each week and staying for the meetings. My weight-loss week is from Monday - Sunday, which means that I have my weigh-in on Mondays. I kind of like this idea. Start the week off with a clean slate.
Last week I did my first week back on Weight Watcher program. My friends at Twitloss are a big reason for this. Twitloss was the idea of a group of great women on Twitter. Their stories and support have already helped me through the first week. And I did GREAT for my first week back, losing 3.2 pounds! So my post yesterday morning was going to be a big pat on the back for my hard work and making it through the first week.
However, yesterday I was gone the ENTIRE day until 9:00 pm. I had a long day and found that I was at my favorite Mexican restaurant at 6:30 pm and I was SO hungry. Well, I just “let go.” I had chips and salsa and stuff with cheese and sour cream. I had a margarita. I ate 2 brownies (small) for dessert. So my post last night was going to be all about the fact that as soon as I see progress I go out and sabotage myself. I felt like crap last night. And I was too tired to write a post.
Which brings me to today. I was so tired when I got up this morning. I did not want to do anything. But I went to the gym and completed 60 minutes of Body Combat
and it kicked my butt. I ate sensibly and feel good about myself. I’m back on t

The next time was last night when I went out to dinner and then today, after I’ve had some time to reflect. I think the fact that I have now mentally written 3 blogs about one week of weight-loss demonstrates what an up-and-down time I’m having with my current weight-loss journey.

Born of the Big Screen 80’s Action Adventure...
I recently picked up Sherrilyn Kenyon’s League Series, which I highlighted a few weeks ago in my blog. Today, I’m reviewing the first book in this series, Born of Night.

From Ms. Kenyon’s website:
Command Assassin Nykyrian Quikiades was born and trained to slaughter. Refusing to be a pawn, he turned his back on the League and has been hunted by them ever since. Though many have tried, none can kill him. Now his assignment is to protect Kiara Zamir, a woman whose father's political alliance has made her a target. She wants nothing to do with politics, yet she is forced to submit to protection or die.
And as her world becomes even deadlier, Kiara must entrust her life to the same kind of beast who once killed her mother and left her for dead. Old enemies and new threaten them both and the only way they can survive is to overcome their suspicions and learn to trust in the very ones who threaten them most-- each other.
What I’m talking about:
In this futuristic world, life is extremely harsh and many times cruel. The book setting recalls images of great 80's sci-fi movies: Dune, Mad Max, and Blade Runner. Our heroes are the anti-establishment, hardened outlaws that have a heart of gold underneath the rough exterior.
Our hero, Nykyrian Quiakides has lived a life that was so cruel and so outrageous that we are told he trusts no one and expects that eventually even his best friend will turn him in for profit. Then there is Kiara, our priviledged, royal dancer that has a naive view of the world. Although she senses the good in Nykyrian, she is

horrified by the choices he has made in his life. She cannot comprehend how someone would choose to kill and live as an outlaw assassin. He is determined not to get close to Kiara, and she is equally determined to show him that he can be loved.
The story of protection, war and assassins is good. Even though it has a lot of cliche moments, I was still glued to the book and wanted to know what would happen next. Scenes where Nykyrian is shot to death in front Kiara, yet he still lives seems box-office block-buster material: predictable action and adventure. But there were enough deviations from the normal to make the book hold my attention.
The writing is not as full and mature as Ms. Kenyon's fabulous Dark Hunter series. These books were some of her first written (and were recently re-issued). The point-of-view changes frequently and without warning. While reading the first part of the book I would get confused at times, until I was used to the quick change in POV.
Another issue I had with the story was the constant self-degrading attitude and comments of Nykyrian. Yes, we know his life was harsh and he thinks little of himself, but we really don't need for him to constantly remind himself that he is no good for Kiara. The inner monologue of both main characters gets very repetitive and annoying.
Luckily for the readers, they get over their emotional baggage and get together. Of course it's amazing and true love. The ride after is bumpy and full of more baggage. They each make assumptions on what is best for the other and end up wrong at times.
And by the end of the book, it all works out - amazingly so. The fairytale ending of the story is somewhat at odds with the brutal beginning of the story. However, even with the cliches and issues I had while reading this book, I still couldn't put it down. I teared up in a few places and felt my heart quicken for Nykyrian and Kiara. The bottom line is: the story works. Think of it as your summer block-buster movie ready for viewing. Pop some corn and pull up a comfy chair.

Kissed by an Angel
I want to start out by stating for the record: I *heart* Nalini Singh and her books! She is an amazing author. Her Psy/Changling series is in my Top 3 favorites and a must read/buy set. So just over a year ago when I saw that she was releasing a new series, I figured it had to be good.
I was on vacation and found the closest bookstore. When I got there and the book wasn’t on the shelf, I made them pull Angels’ Blood from the back. I was NOT disappointed! I devoured the book in a day and from that point on was hooked!
I was on vacation and found the closest bookstore. When I got there and the book wasn’t on the shelf, I made them pull Angels’ Blood from the back. I was NOT disappointed! I devoured the book in a day and from that point on was hooked!Fast forward a year later and we have the second book of Ms. Singh’s Guild Hunter series, Archangel’s Kiss. This is the blub from the author’s website:
Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux wakes from a year-long coma to find herself changed—an angel with wings the colors of midnight and dawn—but her fragile body needs time to heal before she can take flight. Her lover, the stunningly dangerous archangel Raphael, is used to being in control—even when it comes to the woman he considers his own. But Elena has never done well with authority…
They’ve barely begun to understand each other when Raphael receives an invitation to a ball from the archangel Lijuan. To refuse would be a sign of fatal weakness, so Raphael must ready Elena for the flight to Beijing—and to the nightmare that awaits them there. Ancient and without conscience, Lijuan holds a power that lies with the dead. And she has organized the most perfect and most vicious of welcomes for Elena…
What I'm talking about:
The sophomore book of Ms. Singh's Guild Hunter Series is a wonderful story. The continued examination of primary couple, Archangel Raphael and Hunter Elena, is sensual and fulfilling. It is a rare treat for a romance novel to focus on the same couple for more than one book. But it works for a couple of reasons. First: Elena and Raphael did not have a “happily ever after” of the truest sense in the first book. Yes, he saved her and did something so rare - turned her into an angel - that it only happens when an angel feels true love, but that was it... no “ever after.” Second: now that Elena is an angel, things in her world are very different, and how she relates to her mate changes, too.
What I love about this story is that we watch Elena learn how to use her new wings, develop her skills and study the way of the immortal.
I love how Elena's growth is "real." She doesn't wake up from a year of a coma and is able to walk out the door and fly. She has to struggle and we take that journey with her. In addition, we watch the love between Raphael and Elena blossom into something never seen in the world of the immortals. Each look, touch and kiss is amazing. Their relationship is truly unique and worth the extra time (a second book).

We feel for Raphael as he worries about his mate. We try to figure out what Lijuan is up to and capable of doing. In addition, there are some gruesome deaths and horrific (to the angel’s world) acts that occur, and Raphael is on a time crunch to figure out who is his adversary and how to prevent them from killing Elena. However, I felt the climax and ending fell short of Ms. Singh's storytelling abilities. The climax was somewhat predictable and fell a little flat for me. This is the only reason I give the story 4 instead of 5 stars. Overall a wonderful book and worth a read (or two).
And for a very fun glimpse into Guild Hunter #3, please visit Nalini Singh’s blog! You won’t be disappointed!

Not that there is anything wrong with that...
Recently I won a free ebook from KC at SmokingHotBooks. She blogged over the first 2 weeks in February with the theme "14 days of man love." Although I had never read any m/m (male/male) romance books, I figured I would enter the contest to win a free book. When KC notified me that I WON, I was so excited. But then I thought "What will I read?" She has been going on and on about all these great m/m books she reads, but to be honest, they didn't sound all that appealing to me. Not to mention I am a HUGE paranormal fan - I just don't read contemporary or historical books/romance books. It seemed that all of the m/m books were contemporary.

After asking KC for advice, I selected the book Without Reservations, by J. L. Langley for my prize. I selected it because it is paranormal at heart - a story about werewolves. I figured I could handle werewolves.

My synopsis: Chay is a werewolf that has waited is whole life for his pre-destined mate to come along. As a vet, he knows the injured wolf brought into his office is more than just a wolf, it's another werewolf and his mate. Imagine Chay's shock when he discovers his mate is male.
Keyton has been hurt by a straight male wolf before. He's not ready to jump into another relationship, even with his pre-destined mate. But he cannot deny his attraction to Chay.
The two male wolves decide to jump into their relationship and never regret it. The community is super excepting and the few that don't, well they come around quickly. It's seems a bit too easy to me, but this is paranormal romance!
The story line was interesting and fun. There is a bit of "who done it" and the action was a good mix with the sex. The sex was um, *fans herself* HOT. And there is a lot of it. If you are someone looking to break into m/m and are a bit leery of the sex, this may not be for you. The males are happy to explore each other and the mating pheromones draw them together often. The romance was a bit cheesy at times, the nickname Chay gives to his mate "Lil Bit" is a bit well, annoying. But the feelings are mostly well written. Every once and a while the dialogue seems a bit to "sweet" and overly cheesy.
I enjoyed reading this book and immediately purchased the other 2 stories in the series.

The second book, With Caution, was a better overall story. The relationship didn't come off as "hokey" as the first book. The chemistry between the two males was hot. The story didn't focus as much on the physical as the first book. Overall this was a very good story and I would recommend it to anyone looking to try m/m.
Finally, I purchased the ebook version of a novella titled With Love. (Originally released in the anthology Hearts from the Ashes) All though this story is from the With or Without series, it is a stand alone spinoff

and can be read at anytime. The story was not nearly as good as the two full-length novels in the With or Without series. The "endearing traits" of the omega male were annoying and I wanted to slap him. I did like the new characters and pack that were presented in the story, and I hope we'll see them again in the full-length books (except please tone down Lainey!) It was an okay story - but I wouldn't recommend unless you are reading the series.
Bonus time: The author has posted 3 short stories from this series on her website. Do not read unless you've read the first two books because there are spoilers. But oh, the shorts are SO GOOD!
So overall I give my first m/m reading experience 2 thumbs up! What I realized it when reading, it didn't matter who the main couple in the relationship is - as long as the story was well written and interesting, the sexual orientation of the people didn't really matter. These stories were fun and I look forward to reading more of Ms. Langley's books in the future.

And the Award goes to...
Yea! I received another great blogging award:
The Beautiful Blogger Award was given to me by my friend, Larissa, at Larissa's Life. Thank you! I would like to pass it on to another great blogger:My Smokin' Hot Twitter friend:
KC at Smokin' Hot Books!
She introduced me to a great sub-genre of the Romance world, which I will blog about soon! Thank you to both great ladies!
Just a short post for now... I'm still trying to unpack from my vacation, and add on top of that all the "stuff" that comes along with being away for a week.

I Wish...
I got a wonderful birthday gift yesterday. My AMAZING, dear friend and follow book lover sent me a $30 gift certificate for Amazon. She knows I got a Kindle for my birthday (a couple months early *snicker*) and she wanted me to pick up something off my wish list. I *heart* her. She is a great lady, isn’t she?
So that got me thinking about which books are my top priority. My friends on Twitter have given me several suggestions, and in some cases, ultimatums (yes, Queen B... I’m talking about you!) I thought about it and here are the top 3 series on my wish list:
First up...
The Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs

From Ms. Briggs website:
Mercedes is Volkswagen mechanic living in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. Her native american heritage has gifted her with the ability to take the form of a coyote at will. She's surrounded by far more powerful supernatural beings, including werewolves, vampires and an assortment of fey.
Knowing that the Kate Daniels series is in my Top 5 of all time, I’ve been told by my tweeps and book friends that I will LOVE this series.
Next on the list...
The Night Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost

From Ms. Frost’s website:
The NIGHT HUNTRESS series is an urban fantasy romance featuring half-vampire heroine Cat Crawfield. My heroine and hero have a difficult road ahead of them and they will have to work very hard to earn their HEA (happily-ever-after), so their story isn’t over with the first book. Hope you come along for the ride.
All I know is that my Tweeps drool over Bones and I have heard so much innuendo about “Chapter 32” I think I may burst!
Third on my list...
From the authors' website:
The Southern Arcana books are novel-length paranormal romance set in a contemporary world where shapeshifters, psychics and spell casters of all sorts live secret lives beneath the radar. The paranormal world of Southern Arcana is not always a pretty place, so the books contain their share of violence and death, but if you make it through to the other side you'll always find a happy ending.
I don’t know much about this series, except that it got rave reviews from several of my tweeps.
Honorable mention...
This series has been on my wish list for about a year (remember, I only started reading paranormal romance in the late fall of 2008).
The ACRO Series by Sydney Croft.

First of all I *heart* Larissa Ione (who makes up one half of the writing team that is Sydney Croft). She is an amazing author. I have heard such HOT things about this series, and I cannot wait to read it! I purchased the first book, Riding the Storm, for my Kindle last month.
From the website:
A storm’s rage. A woman’s desire.
A man with the power to set them both free
He can summon lightning at will. Emerge unscathed from the center of a tornado. Strip a woman down to her barest defenses through the sheer force of his sexuality. He’s gorgeous, dangerous, and the target of parameteorologist Haley Holmes’s latest mission. Haley has been dispatched to the Louisiana bayou to investigate the phenomenon known as Remy Begnaud – man with a gift he never wanted: the ability to control a storm’s fury. But even a woman trained in bizarre weather phenomenon has no defense against the electrifying power of the Ex-Navy SEAL…a power his enemies would kill to control.
With her agency monitoring their every move, Haley’s job is to seduce Remy, gain his trust -- and help him harness his extraordinary gift. But who will protect her from this voracious lover who’s introducing her to a new world of erotic thrills – a man who grows increasingly insatiable with each new weather event? Haley knows a big storm is approaching –and with it will come unexpected delights. But, so, too, will the storm unleash her greatest fears: An enemy bent on destroying Remy. And her worst fear of all…falling in love with this magnificent man, then having to betray him...
SO, with all of these great books on my wish list, I am so excited to get reading. BUT FIRST, I need to finish some of the books I have in my TBR pile. What a great dilemma to have!
