January Book Giveaway

Hello readers... Happy New Year! I hope that your first couple of weeks in 2012 have been good ones. We’ve had no snow up here in my neck of the woods and my kids are very sad (especially since we got snow shoes for Christmas!) It’s time for my JANUARY Book GIVEAWAY! How do these titles sound?

The Rules: To be entered, please leave a comment telling me your favorite snow-related past time (Mine is cozying up to the fire and staying inside!) AND which book set (1, 2, 3, or 4) you prefer if you win (I will do my best to accommodate the winners’ first choice). You do not need to be a google friends connect follower of my blog, but it always appreciated. Contest is open from January 16, 2012 until Friday January 20, 2012 at 9:00 PM EST. If your email is not part of your profile, please leave it so I may contact the winners. One entry per person. Contest is restricted to US and Canadian mailing addresses only. Four (4) winners will be selected from eligible entries using random.org. I am not responsible for items lost in the mail.

We've been having an unusually warm/non-snowy winter also (I'm from Nebraska). But when it does snow, I love to open the windows so I can see the snow, curl up in my recliner with my puppy in my lap, a good book to read and a cup of hot chocolate! I also don't mind shoveling snow, I'm sick I know, as long as I only have to do it once!

My preference would be 3, 4, 1, 2.

Barbara E. said...: Since I grew up in sunny California and now live in Central Florida, I have no idea what I'd do in the snow, except try to stay out of it. So cozying up to the fire and staying inside sounds like a winner to me.

I'd love to win Set #1, but Set #2 would be my second choice. (They're both awesome sets.)

Where I live (Montreal) we're likely to get four to five months of snow each year, and since I don't do any snow-related sports, my favourite pastime has reverted to something akin to yours: stay warm at home and watch the snow fall through the window! Alternately, I've started taking pictures last year and snowy landscapes appeal to me.
